I wanted to post to share what I found with my 15 RZR 1000XP 4 not starting. It started with it randomly starting and dying. I would give it a little gas and it would start back up most times. But some times I would have to let it sit for a few minutes and then it would start. You can unhook the battery cable at the starter and check the resistance through the starter. Hook one ohm meter wire to the starter battery post and the other to ground. If it reads infinite resistance the winding is open. If it reads zero resistance the winding is grounded or shorted. 2019 RZR RS1.

Everything could work (lights, winch, etc.) But if the volts aren't high enough it won't crank, only click. You can check fuses and relays, will be a cheaper and easier fix than a new battery. If you do then you know your ignition is working. If you do have a spark then pour some gas down the cylander and put back plug and see if it fires. Always start with the fuel pressure on a 2006 700. 39 psi +/-2 or you have a problem . You can have fuel but not enough fuel pressure. 8 times out of 10 it is the the fuel pressure . It shows a 636 (crank sensor) code. The sensor should be on the right rear side of the engine. Pull on the wires at the plug to see if the wires are broken inside the insulation. Seemed to be running on one cylinder for a bit after start, but after running a few minutes would run ok. This weekend it started up fine.Ranger will not start without help from fluid or gas. Ohm reading is OL across the 3 pins. I unplug the sensor it will not run. I have checked the following:2. Insulated fuel line and fuel rack. 3. Burped the fuel tank (opened/closed fuel cap) 4. Cleaned fuel tank and blew out pump suction filter. Found that Polaris routed my fuel tank vent hose into a frame section under the seat without any filter attached. It takes quite a bit of cranking and throttle to get it to start, then it needs throttle to keep it running until it warms up for a minute.

From there it should hold pressure and the pump should run while cranking to keep pressure to the system.
